Sounds awkward or not but it’s true that in the past 4 years we became experts in funerals. Being catholics but served on more than 100 lutheran funeral as well (Márton also as a choir master by Karlakór Kjalnesinga and as a freelancer organist), we are familiar with all kind of liturgy and traditions.
Regarding funerals we aren’t just musicians, but can help you organize the whole musical part of the ceremony (help with the song selection, negotiate with the priests, the funeral company, soloists, musicians if needed). During these years, we built up a professional relationship with leading vocal and instrumental artists of Iceland both in the classical and the pop music. Whoever or whatever instrument or genre, you think of, we have the ability to organize it.
