We are happy to announce the 1st edition of our Summer Singing Course in Reykjavík.
Every year we will have a theme and this year to start with one of the most popular ones, we focus on Disney songs.
Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White: unleash your fantasy and learn the most beautiful Disney songs from a professional singer.
-Learn how to use your body without stress.
-How to take out the maximum of your voice.
-How to perform on the stage.
-How to sing with a live piano accompainment. (pianist provided for every single lessions)
-Learn 2 Disney songs or one song and a duett.
–You will get a recording of the course and your singing, recorded on the 5+1st day.
Everyone with or without any professional educational background.
Both males and females from the age of 8
Couples are also welcome to register together and focus on duetts.
-Basically any Disney or other animation film song what you like.
-2 songs or 1 song and 1 duett (we may have recommendations if the selected duett doesn’t fit your voice type)
-The song may be on any language but if it isn’t in English or Icelandic, we may ask you to provide text or notes on the selected language.
(on workdays, every student has a dedicated private lession of 30 mins plus she/he may be present as a listener on the lessions of others)

15th June – 20th June: Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM
29th June – 4th July: Monday to Friday from 3PM to 8PM
6th July – 11th July: Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM
27th July – 31st July: Monday to Friday from 3PM to 8PM
The 5+1 day course with piano accompainment and video material costs 26.000 ISK

Opera2gether as an ensemble was officially formed in 2018 but it roots back to a 12 years cooperation. Our goal with founding this formation was to renew the way of introducing classical music and experiment with fresh forms of cooperations and interdisciplinar artworks. We believe that artists can't stay appart from their public but they have to be able to speak their language, react to their feeling and bring the masterpieces of classical and contemporary music and theatre into their everyday life.
